Building on successful collaborations with Benin through LagosPhoto Festival 2023 and the Benin Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia 2024, the African Artists’ Foundation (AAF) deepens artistic exchange in the country, reflecting on contemporary Identities in Africa And Its Diaspora.
This fall, the Saint Louis Art Museum will present “Narrative Wisdom and African Arts,” an exhibition that will bring together a rich variety of sculptures, textiles, works on paper, photography, painting and time-based media created by artists from across sub-Saharan Africa as well as contemporary African artists working globally.
